Due to low attendance at all the 2014 Theravada Buddhist Young Adults (TBYA) meetings, it has been decided to temporarily suspend the TBYA discussion group. Thank you to all who have nurtured and supported TBYA during its first life, especially Ma Sanda and Ko Thet.

Guest teacher: Nikki Mirghafori has studied samatha and vipassana under the supervision
of Ven. Pa Auk Sayadaw, who authorized her to teach both. She is a
teacher-in-training at Spirit Rock Meditation Center as well as
Stanford's Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education.
She has a Ph.D. in computer science from UC Berkeley and has had an
active career as a research scientist.
Abstract:
This
session will be a mix of lecture, guided meditation, interactive
dialogue (both in pairs and the whole group), and Q/A. Please come
prepared not just to listen, but also to practice and discuss. The
topics we will touch on:
